In the summer of 2024, I spent time at Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay, photographing the distillery, its surrounding landscape, and the people whose work and pride shape it. The brief was simple and rare: capture a genuine sense of place.
Bruichladdich is B Corp certified, works closely with the local community, and builds its story on heritage and craft — the kind of commission I look for. As I told them at the time: "There's not a clear distinction between personal work and commission for me — I have to be able to use my vision to make work I'm proud of. In that respect, Bruichladdich was a dream commission."
I'm currently looking for further collaborations with brands who share that same commitment to place, people and craft.
